Emergency Planned Hazard - Re-routing of core internet traffic

An Emergency Planned event is scheduled for Wednesday the 11th at 10pm. The event is to re-route 50% of our core internet connectivity around a malfunctioning router. We expect there to be no outage or perhaps a very small period of packet loss at 11PM as such this is a hazard only.

Core Network Packet loss to some destinations

We are currently experiencing small amounts of packet loss to some destinations on the internet due to congestion in areas of our peer network. We hope to have it resolved shortly.

  • Some traffic has been re-routed around the congestion. We will continue to monitor.

  • An emergency planned hazard is secluded for between 8pm and 10pm this evening to implement some traffic redistribution so as to remove congestion on some peer links. There may be some brief outages or slowness during that time frame.
